In today’s world of the internet and multimedia, if you have all your senses; sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, you tend to take them for granted. Imagine living in a world where at least one of these senses are partially or not working. I wanted to create sensory woven designs teaching the world how to use Braille, something that the majority of people do not learn. My muted colour palate interpretates beauty and brightness if one has never seen both before in life. For me, pink is beautiful and a sense of liberty so intwining pink yarns and raffia within my work demonstrates a beautiful light.
